We have now become accustomed to drinking a large cup of strong coffee right as our day begins and eating breakfast that tends to be less than ideal. High levels of stress can put you at a higher risk of weakening your immune system. Stress increases inflammation levels in your body, thus further weakening the immune function. It can also cause bad headaches. This is why it’s important to relieve your stress and anxiety.

Spend some time in the early morning to meditate or go for a calming walk in the park. You can also try yoga or light exercises that help improve your body’s strength and flexibility.

Stay hydrated

Make sure you’re drinking at least eight full glasses of water daily. It’s easy to lose track of your water intake, so it’s a good idea to keep a water bottle with you at all times and take small sips throughout the day. You can also add some zest to it by adding lemon or cucumber.

Consider taking supplements

If your doctor approves of it, ask them to prescribe supplements that can boost your immune system. Generally, the most important supplements that one requires contain Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, zinc, folic acid (especially in women), and calcium. Make sure that you take them regularly or as recommended by your doctor.
